The drug is taken inside, 30 minutes before eating.
For the treatment of a novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) caused by SARS-CoV-2 virus, the following dosing regimen is recommended:
- for patients with body weight < 75 kg at 1600 mg (8 tables) 2 times on the 1st day of therapy, then 600 mg (3 tables) 2 times/day, respectively, from the 2nd to 10th day of therapy;
- for patients with a body weight of ≥75 kg of 1800 mg (9 tables) 2 times on the 1st day of therapy, then 800 mg (4 tables) 2 times/day, respectively, from the 2nd to the 10th day of therapy.
Administration of the drug should be based on the clinical picture and/or after laboratory confirmation of the diagnosis and in the presence of characteristic clinical symptoms.
The total duration of the treatment course is 10 days or before confirmation of viral elimination, if earlier (two consecutive negative PCR results obtained with an interval of at least 24 hours).
